First, a few facts about Matchmaker:

• You don’t need to log-in to use Matchmaker.
• It is currently accepting posts without error.
• Do not submit multiple duplicate posts! It is obnoxious and takes up space.
• Keep your comments brief and informative.

Browsing Posts

To browse existing posts, go to the tournament calendar page on NAGVA’s site. Find the row with the tournament you would like to browse. In the far right is a column labeled MATCHMAKER. Click "Players" to see players looking for teams, click "Teams" for teams looking for players.

Submitting Posts

To add a post, use the top horizontal navigation link labeled "Matchmaker", or use the link provided in the left sidebar, labeled "Post to matchmaker”. Players may submit posts by clicking the image of the single red volleyball jersey labeled "Players." Teams may submit posts by clicking the image of the three navy volleyball jerseys labeled "Teams." A form will display in either case. Complete and submit the form. After clicking submit, your Posting ID will be displayed in the message box at the top of the page.

Assuming you provided a valid email address on the form, you will also receive an email confirming your post was received. The body of the text will read:
"Your Player Posting has been added to the Volleyball Matchmaker Bulletin Board. When you wish to delete your posting, go to the Matchmaker on http://nagva.org. You will need your Posting ID: CHM10837184552"

Deleting a Post

To delete a post (and we do encourage you to do so if you've found a team, decided not to attend, etc.) use the links mentioned above for adding a post, but on the page displayed click the link labeled "Delete a Post." Enter your Posting ID that was provided to you in the email (as noted above).
