Rumors and Rule Changes 2010

Contrary to rumor and speculation, there were NO proposals submitted by members which changed the team composition rule (no 'A' on BB teams, etc.)- as such, no changes were voted into effect at the Annual Meeting. Higher rated players are still prohibited on any given team. The confusion/ rumor may have originated with a proposal that deals with the Master's Division. That proposal (which passed) simply brought the rules governing the Master's division in line with the rest of the divisions - no higher rated players are allowed on a team regardless of Master's or regular play. There were 4 proposals submitted by the membership and voted upon during the Annual Meeting. Full minutes of the Annual Meeting will be posted online tonight. The Rules & Regulations will be updated to reflect the changes approved, and the amended version will be posted online after the board certifies the changes are correctly stated in the amended document.
