Updated NAGVA Return to Play Guidelines - March 2022

Mar 3, 2022

Dear NAGVA Members,

I hope this message finds you well.

As we have said from the beginning of publishing our Return to Play Guidelines this season, NAGVA would be consulting federal and state guidelines as it comes to our response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) newest guidance published last week, effective immediately, masks will not be required to be worn while in any indoor venue UNLESS the facility and/or locality require them, although masks are highly recommended. For the remainder of the season, NAGVA will continue to require the presentation of a negative COVID test within 72 hours of signing the waiver or proof of being fully vaccinated. We will review this requirement prior to the start of the next season.

You may find the Return to Play Guidelines in full, here: https://cdn.filestackcontent.com/bQjz1Nb7RNus1701Lwyr.

As always, if you have any questions about this, or any other NAGVA-related issue, please contact any one of your board members. Our contact information can be found at www.nagva.org/officers.

We look forward to seeing you on the courts at one of the remaining NAGVA tournaments this season and in Las Vegas at NAGVA Championships.

Warmly,

Lew Smith
